Meet JPP’s New Coaches!

2 min read

At JPP, we understand that every path to self-sufficiency is unique. That’s why our coaches work alongside families, not for them. Coaching is grounded in partnership, trust, and listening. Our coaches take the time to understand each family’s strengths, priorities, and dreams, then collaborate to identify resources, opportunities, and practical steps to advance those goals.

Whether a parent is exploring a new career, returning to school, seeking meaningful employment, working toward financial stability, or navigating challenges, our coaches provide individualized support every step of the way.

Through trauma-informed care, personalized guidance, and unconditional positive regard, our coaching team fosters a safe, supportive space where families can build confidence, recognize their strengths, and take steps toward the future they envision.

Expanding Our Reach Across Jefferson County

We’re excited to share that our coaching team is growing!

Adding new coaches enables JPP to welcome more families to our program and expand our reach across Jefferson County. It also helps us strengthen community connections, provide specialized bilingual support, and offer more families the one-on-one guidance that turns goals into action.

Please join us in welcoming our newest team members and celebrating the coaches who continue to make this work possible.

Meet Mallerly & Heather

Smiling woman in a black blouse and earrings poses against a weathered wooden wall, warm and friendly portrait.

Mallerly brings more than a decade of experience supporting leaders, teams, programs, and nonprofit organizations. As a bilingual Social Communicator in English and Spanish with a master’s degree in social policy, she takes a culturally responsive approach to connecting with and empowering individuals and families.

Mallerly is passionate about building connections, understanding diverse perspectives, and helping people access services that meet their unique needs. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, hiking, and making memories with family and friends.

Smiling woman with red glasses in a colorful patterned blouse stands against a red brick wall.

Heather has more than a decade of experience working in Adult ESL, supporting refugee and immigrant families as an educator and career navigator. She is passionate about helping people recognize their strengths, pursue their goals, and understand complex ideas and systems more easily.

As a first-generation college graduate, Heather knows firsthand how challenging it can be to navigate educational and professional systems without a roadmap. She brings that perspective to her work with JPP families, helping make those pathways more accessible and achievable. In her free time, Heather enjoys salsa dancing and taking long drives with her children.

Our Coaching Team

Zoe has supported JPP families since February 2021, helping participants pursue their self-defined goals while fostering a strong sense of community. She takes the time to connect with each person and recognizes their strengths, experiences, and needs.

Suzanne, a retired Jeffco elementary school teacher, brings a lifelong passion for education, community, and opportunities for learning and growth. She joined JPP in May 2022 and has built meaningful relationships with families across our community.

Coaching Starts With What Matters to You

At JPP, coaching isn’t about telling families what to do. It’s about listening to what matters to them, recognizing their strengths, and collaborating to identify next steps toward their goals. Our coaches walk alongside families through challenges and milestones, celebrate progress, connect families with resources, and help them build the skills and confidence to create lasting change.
