Anti-Event Fundraiser
June 9-18, 2026
The Best Event of the Year is the One You Won't Attend.
Skip the drive. Ditch the high heels. Change generations from your couch.
Every year, organizations spend thousands of dollars on ballrooms, caterers, and decorations to host a traditional fundraising gala.
This year, JPP is hosting the third Annual Anti-Event Fundraiser, I guess it's a tradition at this point. We are bypassing the overhead costs so that 100% of your generosity goes directly where it belongs: providing coaching, community, and economic mobility resources to Jeffco families breaking the cycle of poverty.

Real Success Stories. Real Generational Change.
When you give to the Anti-Event, you aren't paying for a seat at a table; you are investing in the determination of families right here in Jefferson County.
Shavalene’s Story: From Vulnerability to a Forever Home
The Journey: Shavalene joined JPP with a fierce determination to increase her income and build a stable future for her kids.
The Success: Today, she is mastering financial literacy, maintaining stable housing, and is on track to graduate from Dental Hygiene school this fall! Her co-parent, Anthony, secured his CDL and launched a commercial driving career.
The Legacy: Shavalene’s two oldest children have already graduated from high school, with a third graduating next year.
"I’m proud of the kind humans I have raised and how fearless they are! Dive in, find your crowd, and don’t be afraid to be vulnerable. JPP is here to help."
— Shavalene

Ed & Bev’s Story: A Decade of Unconditional Love

The Journey: Joining JPP in 2015 as one of our foundational families, Ed and Bev stepped up as kinship caregivers for their great-grandchildren, Jaden and Chloe. Ed served on our Policy Council and mentored fellow parents.
The Success: The journey came full circle when the children’s mother, Amber, joined JPP too. Working together, Amber built a thriving landscaping career and secured stable housing through well-deserved promotions.
The Legacy: This tag-team family effort resulted in ultimate success: Jaden graduated from high school in 2025, and Chloe graduated this spring in 2026!
