Patience Turns Hard Work Into a Dream Job
Patience, a dedicated JPP mom, is on a powerful journey toward a better future. With support from JPP and CrossPurpose, she worked hard to build the skills and confidence she needed to reach her career goals.
After joining CrossPurpose’s career training program, Patience fully committed to learning and growing. Her determination earned her the All-In Award, recognizing her strong spirit and dedication. She went above and beyond by attending workshops and learning new skills to help her succeed.
Today, Patience is working at a job she loves, using her Bookkeeping certification to support her family. Thanks to her hard work and the support of programs like JPP and CrossPurpose, Patience is creating lasting change for herself and her children. Her story shows what’s possible when families are supported, encouraged, and empowered to pursue their dreams.

Maria, 2024 JPP Graduate

Maria joined JPP in 2019 with a clear vision for her future: to pay down debt, continue her education, and launch her childcare business. In 2024, she graduated from the program as a proud homeowner with a thriving childcare business and a bright future. Maria gained the self-confidence to achieve major milestones, such as mastering business accounting, which enabled her to become self-sufficient and significantly increase her income.
Maria believes in giving back to the community just as the community has supported her. Her future goals include paying off her mortgage early and pursuing a real estate license to invest in properties and provide affordable housing
Charlotte, 2024 JPP Graduate

Since joining JPP in 2019, Charlotte has achieved significant milestones in financial security, her career in caring for others, and debt reduction, all of which have greatly improved her family’s life. She graduated from JPP with a community behind her, valuable financial skills, a meaningful career, and a new home with a yard.
Charlotte served as a leader on the JPP Family Advisory Council, where she helped develop programming that enhanced services for the JPP community. The small groups and family-oriented community have been instrumental in her development, offering valuable insights, encouragement, and a sense of belonging.
Charlotte’s story inspires everyone in the JPP community, encouraging them to pursue their dreams with determination and support.
Ambrosia, 2024 JPP Graduate

Ambrosia joined JPP in 2022 with aspirations to create a better life for her family, focusing on paying down debt, improving mental health, and advancing her education.
Ambrosia's hard work has paid off in numerous ways. She graduated from JPP debt-free, significantly improving her family’s financial stability by increasing their savings and credit scores. She and her husband, Leo, are enrolled at Metropolitan State University of Denver, working toward their bachelor’s degrees in Information Technology.
Ambrosia has set a powerful example for her children, showing them the value of hard work and how perseverance can turn hopes and dreams into reality.
Rynn, 2023 JPP Graduate
JPP graduate, Rynn Sango, is a mother, wife, and active and engaged community member. She has overcome many challenges to achieve her educational goals and enhance her career. During her time in JPP, Rynn graduated from Metropolitan State University with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and was promoted to Vice President of Housing and Employment at Family Tree.
Today, Rynn and her family continue to thrive and give back to the community. As a parent advisor for Ascend Aspen Institute, she's had the opportunity to use her voice to speak about the importance of parent engagement. Watch the video below to learn more about Rynn.
Rhiannon, 2023 JPP Graduate
Rhiannon, a mom of two, joined JPP in 2015 after moving back to Colorado. She was looking for support while enrolling her son in Head Start and working toward her education goals. With help from JPP coaches, she navigated college enrollment, financial aid, and balancing school with parenting.
What started as a goal to earn her associate’s degree turned into something much bigger. Rhiannon transferred to the Colorado School of Mines, earned her Master’s in Applied Optical Physics, and landed a job at Lockheed Martin in 2023.
Along the way, she stayed connected to her community, volunteered, and remained a dedicated mom. Now, Rhiannon hopes to one day teach and mentor young students—just like others helped her believe in her potential.

Carrie, 2023 JPP Graduate
Carrie, a dedicated mother of three, joined JPP in 2019 with a strong desire to create a better future for her family. Since then, she’s worked hard and made incredible progress both personally and professionally.
In 2021, Carrie landed her dream job with the Veterans Administration. Thanks to her dedication, she’s already earned several raises and a promotion. She also hit some major financial milestones—like buying her first car and boosting her credit score by over 100 points!
Carrie’s family is thriving, and she continues to set new goals, including buying a home and growing in her career. Her story shows what’s possible with determination, hard work, and the support of the JPP community.
