Clean Out Your Closet Clothing Drive

At JPP, we help parents and youth land their dream jobs. Our Annual Searching & Shopping Event is one way we help make that possible—and we invite you to be part of it.

This spring event is designed to help parents feel confident and prepared as they take the next step in their career journey. We provide a boutique of gently used professional clothing, along with resume support, interview preparation, and employment resources. It’s more than just an event—it’s a moment of encouragement, confidence-building, and opportunity.

Clothing Drive: Donate by April 9th

That blazer you no longer wear, or those shoes tucked in the back of your closet, could make a difference for someone starting a new job. From now through April 9th, we are collecting gently used professional and business-casual clothing for men, women, and teens. Your donations directly support families as they prepare for job interviews, new roles, and career advancement.

Items needed:

  • Business casual attire

  • Dresses, skirts, slacks, and blouses

  • Shoes and accessories (jewelry, purses, ties, etc.)

  • Children’s clothing (all sizes)

We are especially in need of plus-size women’s clothing, which is always in high demand. Email Roxy Dunaway at rdunaway@jeffco.us to schedule a drop-off time.

Volunteer: April 10-11

Volunteers are at the heart of this event. Whether you can give a few hours or a full day, your time helps create a welcoming and supportive environment for JPP families.

Volunteer opportunities:

  • Set Up (April 10, 2:00–4:00 pm): Organize and hang clothing

  • Event Support (April 11, 9:00 am–1:00 pm): Welcome families, assist with resumes, mock interviews, or children’s activities

  • Clean Up (April 11, 1:00–3:00 pm): Help pack up clothing and event materials

Every role contributes to a meaningful experience. For additional details or to sign up to support, complete the volunteer interest form.

At JPP, we’ve seen firsthand how confidence can change everything. When a parent feels prepared for an interview or proud of how they present themselves, it can make all the difference!

This event is made possible by a community that shows up. By donating clothing or volunteering your time, you are helping families take important steps toward economic stability and long-term success. We cannot do this work without YOU!
