Celebrating Strength, Growth, and New Beginnings: JPP’s Annual Achievement Ceremony

Updated: Sep 4

Last week, we hosted our Annual Achievement Ceremony to celebrate the strength, resilience, and transformation of our families. From earning degrees to launching businesses and becoming homeowners, they showed us what’s possible with hard work and community support.

We are honored to walk alongside every family on their path to success.

A woman speaks at a podium in a crowded hall. Attendees sit facing her, some hold pamphlets. A monitor shows a colorful display.

Graduates Who Inspire Us All

Every JPP program graduate has a story of growth.

Children and an adult smiling at a table with gingerbread kits. Indoor event with others in the background. Festive, cheerful mood.

Manda and Chris worked to improve their financial stability and learn skills to become better parents. Chris is now a Journeyman Electrician. Manda has made incredible strides in improving her mental health, creating a more balanced, joyful life for herself and her family. They bought their first home and continue to grow their careers as they embrace this exciting new chapter.

Three women smiling in front of a black curtain. The center holds a pink rose. One wears green, another in blue. Positive and cheerful mood.

Kapri earned her Associate’s Degree in Social Work and now works as an Admissions Counselor, supporting other students. She’s also improved her health, strengthened her finances, and returned her housing voucher. Kapri's story is a shining example of self-belief and transformation.

A family of three in winter coats smiling on a snowy ski slope with a mountain in the background. The child is being held up, looking joyful.

Laura and Carlos have pursued education and career advancement with passion. Laura earned her CDA credential and a Cybersecurity Certificate, while Carlos stepped into a Business Management position in IT. Together, they’ve built a strong support network and continue to invest in their family’s future.

Graduate in a navy cap and gown joyfully holds a diploma, posing in a hallway with brick walls. She smiles, celebrating achievement.

Brittany and Nathan set out to finish high school and have transformed their family's future. Brittany completed her Cosmetology Certificate and launched her own business. Nathan is thriving as a Level 3 Operator in construction materials. They bought a home, grew their savings, and created a future full of possibilities for their children (and their new cat!).

These stories are more than accomplishments. They are living proof of what’s possible when families are supported, believed in, and equipped with the right tools.
