We have some exciting news to share: JPP has been selected to participate in the Target Circle Giving Program! Woohoo!
Now through September 30th, every time you shop at Target, you can earn votes to help direct a portion of Target’s charitable funding to JPP. The more votes we receive, the larger our final grant will be to allow us to provide holistic coaching, financial literacy, and career support to even more local families breaking the cycle of poverty.
Here is everything you need to know about how the program works and how you can support us with just a few clicks!
What is the Target Circle Giving Program?
Target Circle is Target’s free loyalty program. As a perk of being a member, guests earn votes as they shop online or in-store. At the end of the campaign, Target tallies up all the votes in our assigned market and awards grants to participating non-profits based on their percentage of total votes.
How Much Is a Vote Worth?
In this program, votes are not tied to a specific dollar amount or how much you spend on a receipt. Guests earn one vote per eligible transaction, whether you buy a $2 pack of gum or a $200 grocery haul! Our final grant payout depends directly on our share of the total community vote, which means every single vote truly makes an impact.
How to Enroll in Target Circle (It’s Free!) If you aren't a member yet, signing up takes less than a minute. You can join for free in three simple ways:
Online: Visit target.com/circle
App: Download the free Target app on iOS or Android.
In-Store: Enter your phone number at the checkout register.
How to Earn Votes When You Shop
You earn one vote every time you make an eligible purchase at Target.
In-Store: Scan your Wallet barcode in the Target App at checkout, or enter the phone number associated with your Target Circle account at the keypad.
Online: Make sure you are signed into your Target Circle account on Target.com or the Target App before placing your order.

How to Cast Your Votes for JPP
Casting your votes is 100% digital and only takes a few seconds!
Open the App or Browser: Go to the "My Target" tab in the Target App, or visit target.com/circle/community-voting
Tap ‘Cast votes’: You’ll see a list of participating non-profits in the local market.
Find JPP & Vote: Select the Jefferson County Prosperity Project, choose how many of your accrued votes you’d like to cast, and submit!
Supporting JPP from Outside Jefferson County?
Do you have friends, family, or colleagues living outside of our immediate area who still want to vote for JPP? They can!
Target Circle allows users to change their designated location to support non-profits in other markets. If you or your supporters live outside of our local store area, update your Target Circle zip code to 80003 in your profile settings. This will add JPP to your voting list, so you can cast your vote for us from anywhere in the country!
